![]() The question I have for most of you is, are you consistent? In what you may ask? Exercise of course! If you are consistent this far you are doing great! Most of us go through life with obstacles in the way that steer us from where we want to be, or where we want to go. We have all challenges that test us daily, to see if we could do the things we want to do and go where we want to go. What does that really mean? We all have dreams, goals, and things we all want to come to for wishing. The question is, are you there? Do you have all the things you hope you ever wanted? Like having a great body? Are you successful? Did you do the things you want to do? Are you happy with your family? Are you happy with your life? Did you lose the fat weight? Are you at the size of clothes you wanted? Did you ever go to the dream vacation you have always wanted and like the way you look with your shirt off? The reason why I ask all these questions is because; this is what we think and more. These are just a few words that go through our head and try to get in your way, if you let it! We all have to start with what goes on in our minds and figure out is this it? Is that all there is? The big problem is we get bored to easily. Can you endure long enough to get to where you want to go and where you want to be? And have the things you want to have in life? It all starts by a single step like exercising right. The first step is picking a topic that is important to you! I pick exercise because that is what I am great at and what I know. That is one of my strengths. By picking something your good at is your first key to getting to where you want to go and doing the things you want to do. It is also easy for you to do, if you are good at something. It does not take you to long to think about and what you have to do. You just do it and get it done. A lot of us struggle on things we are unfamiliar with. Take dancing for instance. Some of us are great at it and some of us look like fools when we dance. It takes time to learn and practice like everything else. Find what you’re great at, meaning your strengths and apply that same principle to your new venture. You need to start believing that you will get what you want. But you cannot just think about it. You have to do it. And do it soon! What makes people successful is we take baby steps. Stay consistent no matter what life throws your way. Keep doing the right things. No matter if it is the same thing. For example, take eating the same foods every single day. I admire all the athletes because I know how hard it must be to eat the same things and avoid the temptations for months to get ready for that big fitness or body building competition. Staying consistent leads us closer to where we want to go. We reach closer and closer to our target and goals. Then it get’s easier. It becomes automatic. Your workouts become more of a lifestyle and enjoy working out and look forward to working out all the time. You now look and feel great. You have taken the time to see your hard work pay off. And by doing so, you have made the transformation. These are the rules we follow that make us successful. So what happen when we do not follow are simple rules? We feel awful, sick, lazy, and just basically bad. We start going the opposite direction. And we play the yoyo exercise and diet. Then back to square one. We all heard of the saying if you keep going, you will be successful no matter what you do. But do we? We don’t, we get stuck with what our mind is saying, that it is too late. Or I am too old, or I don’t have the money or I can’t afford it, etc. And again, are we following our own rules? It is painful to see someone doing so great for say three months or so, but soon start to have doubts. Like saying, I think I know enough to do it on my own. Some of us quit too early and have not gone through life without learning to go long enough to do it right. I see so many potential in every one, especially the ones that has put their trust in me and got the privilege to work with them and their bodies. It took me years, and a lot of hours, time and mistakes to know it is not an over night success. I have to stay consistent and patient long enough to keep doing all the right things that will lead me to where I want to go. No matter if it is the same thing and for how long. We need to learn to endure long enough and will do what ever it takes to get there. If we all keep going, doing the simple things like baby steps, we are all going to become successful. It all starts, with a positive mental attitude. Keep your mind in a positive state daily. Go through and follow your rules daily. Start by baby steps and go slow. If you stumble along the way keep going. You are almost there. You are going in the right direction. Stay consistent and take action! Anthony Robbins said it best. “Results in life don’t come from being motivated; results in life come from taking action”. That is where the rubber meets the road. If you just keep going, you will have success. You are successful. I am where I want to be. I am happy and I love my life! You are doing great! Keep going. Never stop training; eating right, exercising and doing all the right things that will lead you to where you want to be and go. And it all starts by staying consistent. |
