Dear Ray:
I wanted to take this time to tell you how pleased I am with the results I have achieved at this time through your fitness and training program.
I started this journey with you July, 2007 for several reasons:
- High cholesterol: Total 260, LDL 160
- Over weight and poor lean muscle to body fat ratio
- Lack of exercise equipment knowledge
- Protect a previously fractured shoulder and torn tendon
I live in a condominium complex that houses, as one of its amenities, a gym with weights and exercise equipment, however, I did not know how to use them properly. I now feel empowered to work out with this equipment without injury to myself. I know the proper sequence and form to use when working out as well as proper warming up and post-cardio work outs to release the lactic acid. I have learned the best dietary foods to ingest including the ratio of protein to carbs before and after working out to maximize my performance.
I have lowered my total cholesterol to 168 with my LDL down to 91. Previously my medical doctor prescribed Lipitor and then Zetia, both of which I refused to take because of the side effects. I chose to prove I could “get healthy” without the pharmaceuticals. She is very impressed with your results. She even wrote a letter to my insurance company suggesting your training should be considered part of my medical care.
As a 5’2” 58 year old female, I started out at 168 pounds. My lean muscle mass was 113 and my body fat was 55. I am now 146 pounds with lean muscle of 126 and body fat at 20. I began at 33% body fat and now am at 14%. I’ve not reached my goal weight just yet, but with your continued training I’m sure I will and I will learn how to maintain it as well. I believe these improvements have contributed to staving off many health risks and improved my self-confidence.
Ray thank you for your training and counseling. Your knowledge of the body, nutrition and supplements is outstanding. I would be happy to recommend you to anyone who is looking to improve their health.
Best Regards,
Sara
